With an expanded library of reusable care plan templates, Pega Care Management for Healthcare saves care managers from rewriting the same standard information for each case by allowing them to build upon pre-existing content. These templates include care disciplines and processes for diabetes, asthma, orthopedic, quality of life health risk assessment, fall risk, pain assessment, medication risk, pre-surgery home safety, and barriers.
- Access to unstructured patient notes: Unstructured data is one of the greatest untapped resources of care management information. New functionality provides better organization and access to unstructured patient notes, which can be sorted, searched, filtered, and secured through role-based access, to provide a more holistic view of a patient and more accurate care recommendations.
- Accelerated concurrent review team collaboration: Enhanced concurrent review leverages Pega’s sophisticated, industry-leading BPM and case management workflow automation to accelerate clinical review and clinical team collaboration with supporting context. This includes extensive access to review notes and integration of industry guidelines for highly efficient and personalized responses.
