Pega Expands Australian Team in Response to Growing Client Demand
Pega experiences significant growth in five consecutive years across the Asia-Pac region.
SYDNEY – 12 September, 2013 – Pegasystems Inc. (NASDAQ: PEGA), the leader in Business Process Management (BPM) and a leading provider of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions, today announced that it is continuing to expand its Australian operations with the addition of three new team members. As Pegasystems enjoys significant growth in Australia, their expanded team will bring considerable experience in delivering client projects.
Pegasystems’ clients in Australia include Telstra, Transport for NSW, ANZ Bank, Commonwealth Bank, and ME Bank. The solution at Telstra enabled them to reduce the cycle time for order-to-activation of IP services for enterprise customers by 70 per cent, helping to meet the heightened expectations of its most demanding sector and helping to reduce their working capital requirements. In addition to the significant time and cost savings, Telstra has seen an improvement in customer satisfaction amongst their enterprise customers that experience the new, streamlined process.
Joining the team to help service Pegasystems’ growing client portfolio is Derek Enderby as the ANZ South Practice Leader, based in Melbourne. Derek is responsible for Pegasystems’ professional services team and the delivery of client engagements. Derek has more than 15 years’ experience working primarily for software vendors in consulting services teams, ensuring the successful implementation of solutions and running large teams. Derek joins Pegasystems from Deloitte Digital, and, previously, he was responsible for the WebSphere team in IBM's Software Group Services.
Sam Bradon joins Pegasystems as the ANZ North Practice Leader, based in Sydney, responsible for the success of client projects using Pega technology. Sam has more than 16 years of consultancy experience in Australia and the United Kingdom, with industry-leading expertise in financial services, having delivered projects at Axa-Life, Barclays, Suncorp and AON. Before joining Pega, Sam led a large practice focused on customer enablement for Australian IT consultancy, Oakton. Finally, Anthony Leonardi joins Pegasystems as a Solutions Consultant joining the Sydney team having worked with Pegasystems in their Cambridge, Massachusetts global headquarters in the U.S. since 2006.
