DEVK Versicherungen Modernises CRM System with Pegasystems

Munich, Germany. – 30 September, 2013 – Pegasystems Inc. (NASDAQ: PEGA), the leader in  Business Process Management (BPM) and a leading provider of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions, today announced DEVK Versicherungen has selected Pegasystems for the modernisation and consolidation of a CRM system. The new solution facilitates more efficient interdepartmental cooperation between sales channels and service areas, resulting in even more effective customer orientation.

DEVK Versicherungen aims to implement a CRM solution for its staff of approximately 6,000 employees. The Cologne-based insurance company hopes in particular to provide more effective support for insurance sales and an even greater focus on customers. Furthermore, the new solution is intended to make co-operation between the DEVK sales channels and service areas more efficient. To achieve this, existing systems – for instance those used for contact and process management – have to be consolidated and reduced in complexity. The aim is to establish a consistent and complete view of the customer, enabling every interaction to be recorded. As it stands DEVK Versicherungen is using a variety of different systems for individual CRM functions.

DEVK Versicherungen is collaborating with Pegasystems to  implement this CRM project and simplify its CRM processes.  In this context the sales and marketing systems will be standardised by implementing the “Pega Sales Force Automation for insurance companies” solution.

DEVK opted for Pegasystems because the company provides a universal technology platform for CRM processes that helps to significantly reduce the complexity of the existing IT environment. This means that increased customer satisfaction can be achieved by approaching customers in a targeted and consistent way via sales channels. Pegasystems has supplied DEVK Versicherungen with a CRM system that represents state-of-the-art technology and is particularly suitable for supporting sales targets, for instance the realisation of cross-selling/upselling potential or increasing customer loyalty.
