BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee Selects Pegasystems to Further Improve Quality and Value of Healthcare

(NASDAQ: PEGA), the leader in Business Process Management (BPM) software solutions, today announced that BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee (BlueCross) has selected Pegasystems' SmartBPM Suite, including Customer Process Manager (CPM) for Healthcare, to gain important efficiencies in its wellness and disease management programs. 

Widely respected for its smart use of technology in ensuring quality healthcare products, services and information, BlueCross will be deploying CPM for Healthcare's automated campaign management functionality to extend its care management services. In addition, BlueCross will be implementing the Milliman CareWebQI Integration Solution from Pegasystems to seamlessly bring leading industry clinical content and rules to the point of use, driving greater speed, quality and automation to the care management process.
