"We are not going to allow ourselves to be constrained in our digital visions by our own legacy infrastructure."

Virgin Media, the UK's ultrafast internet provider, has embarked on Project Lightning. This is the largest investment in broadband digital infrastructure in the country for more than a decade that is creating thousands of new jobs in what will be a multi-billion pound boost to the national economy. Virgin Media selected Pega to manage the Wayleave process which grants access to private property to build the network. In just 84 days, Pega’s fast delivery has impressed VM executives and Virgin now plans to make Pega a core part of the way that it rolls out new projects to gain competitive advantage.
