The team that you will be joining is focused on solving complex and often competing demands. You will be the catalyst and focal point leading a talented engineering team building differentiated products enabling Pega customers in their efforts to digitize and optimize their various sales motions. In a short window of time, you will be working with a range of Pega technologies that span all elements of customer engagement, weaving AI adaptive and predictive decisions, natural language understanding and mobility experiences to provide compelling experiences across multiple sales engagements.

What You’ll Do at Pega:

  • You will be a techno-functional manager who is accountable for technical design, high-quality development, efficient delivery and support of Sales Automation product
  • You will also function in Scrum teams focused on building, maintaining and supporting applications with high quality, productivity and agility
  • You will be driving best practices amongst your teams and encourage collaboration with alignment
  • You will be an enterprise leader and will be responsible for creating a healthy organization environment to attract and retain high performing talent. You will set goals for your teams, track their performance and provide regular coaching and feedback through 1:1.
  • You will react with urgency to resolve people, process and product issues and focus on continuous improvement with learner mindset.
  • You will manage ambiguity and conflicting priorities while exhibiting a strong executive presence with clarity of thought process and crisp communication styles.

You are an Engineering manager who is passionate about technology, team and customers, has a strong focus on quality, productivity and innovation. For you, ‘good enough’ isn’t good enough!

  • Highly collaborative, good social skills and strong executive presence.
  • Constantly on the lookout of new technologies that can be leveraged to enhance the product’s value proposition.
  • Have strong technical breadth across technologies and depth in specific areas. Should be able to compare and contrast different technologies to solve business problems.
  • Looking to work within a culture that values urgency and teamwork in a collegiate and supportive environment.

What You’ve Accomplished:

  • 10 - 15 years of experience in analysis, design, development, testing and deployment of large enterprise applications/products.
  • Capable of handling a team of around 10 (Dev, Test), aspiring to grow as a strong engineering leader.
  • Experience in J2EE (JSP, Servlets) or equivalent technologies. Strong OO experience and SQL / No-SQL technologies.
  • JavaScript, CSS, HTML experience is highly desired.
  • Strong interest and desire to learn and develop in Pega Platform.
  • Experience developing or working with enterprise products.
  • Experience in an agile/scrum team environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar field.
  • Experience in building CRM applications would be a bonus.
  • Experience in managing remote development teams would be a bonus.
  • Experience in managing remote senior stakeholders would be a bonus.
  • Consumer-facing mobile app ownership experience would be a bonus.
