The Pega Government Industry Market team is a powerhouse within Pega’s Industry Markets organization having seen massive growth over the past decade and limitless potential to drive the public sector digital transformation revolution. Blending a small global group of subject matter and former employees within the government sector we support both the regions we’re in as well as global solution areas. One day may find you in a team strategy session planning to address a policy change and then off to present to senior decision makers withing a Department, the next day will find you meeting with the government relations team and then presenting internally the latest developments in GenAI Blueprint and the Pega Cloud for Government FedRAMP roadmap. You’ll be surrounded by smart, curious, hard-working people who like to collaboratively work through some of the most difficult problems, together.

Support Pega’s market-leading Government go-to-market strategy in the US and Canadian markets and globally by providing accountability and ownership for activities tied to Pega’s efforts in target the Government vertical and covered subindustries e.g., state and local, Federal, Defense and Intelligence. As a key member of the global Government team, you will play an integral part in the development and execution of industry-specific sales and market-facing content, go-to-market programs and client engagement strategies to increase brand awareness and promote Pega solutions for the sector in the US, Canada, and globally.
What You'll Do at Pega:
- Work closely with customers, prospects, sales, solutions consulting, and partners to understand market needs and direction to create an industry market strategy for North America.
- Support thought leadership activities, sales enablement strategies, marketing programs through the development of digital and print sales assets and related market-facing engagement strategies and industry content (e.g. presenting at events, social media, blogs and Points of View, product overviews, Pega product and capability differentiation, industry event collateral).
- Demonstrate an understanding of workflow automation technology and delivery practices in order to credibly speak to clients and partners at all stages of their modernization journey.
- Develop and deliver regional go-to-market support and globally applicable solutions based on your expertise in communications processes; 1:1 engagement, customer service, and intelligent process automation.
- Work with product and solution development teams in the creation of world-class technology demos by defining and documenting personas, steps and stages of journeys to be incorporated into technical solution demos.
- Provide industry thought leadership and help coordinate promotional activities; including advertising, conferences, tradeshows, and client events that amplify Pega’s unique value proposition for clients across North American government organizations.
Who You Are:
A creative and strategic business and technology thinker with strong leadership skills and the ability to manage in a matrix. You have an excellent attention to detail including creating end products with a high degree of finish. You have in-depth knowledge of software, delivery, compliance, and procurement requirements within the US government sectors and are able to translate such knowledge into comprehensive strategies and market value for Pega. You have a strong drive to succeed, demonstrate integrity, and top-tier thought leadership.
What You've Accomplished:
- Bachelor’s degree and ideally a graduate degree in business.
- Extensive experience as a senior government leader and/or consulting leader, especially in leading and/or evangelizing sector-specific digital transformation strategies working with government organizations.
- Depth of experience with process automation, CRM, and digital transformation across multiple communications sectors.
- Understanding of government procurement, reselling, and contracting strategy
- Prior strategic consulting experience or approach within the industry highly valued
- Ability to translate business knowledge of the segment or industry into software market value proposition and strategy.
