UX Designer, Client Digital Experience

Meet Our Team:

The Pega Digital Experience team is comprised of Pega Community product managers and the Pega Community Creative team. They work with stakeholders from around Pega to create engaging experiences for multiple Pega digital properties including Pega Community, Pega Academy, and Pega Marketplace, among others. 


Picture Yourself at Pega:

You will be working with members of the Community Creative team that are responsible for managing each site’s branding and corporate marketing, as well as helping to manage Pega’s digital internal design system and digital core architecture. 


What You'll Do at Pega:

60% Creative Design, Wireframing and prototyping for digital products
o    Conceptualize designs that solve complex problems by creating user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
o    Create design assets to support digital ecosystem’s promotional & marketing initiatives, campaigns, and presentations
o    Work alongside content strategy teammates to implement stellar content pages online
o    Collaborate with Digital Experience and Digital Core team members

•    20% Review and validate implementation
o    Run usability testing to verify designs
o    Consistency across multiple implementations
o    Work with engineering team to ensure top-quality pixel-perfect implementation

•    20% Design library management
o    Help to develop and maintain the Bolt Design Library in Figma to aid in mockups for our sites 
o    Build with and contribute to the ever-evolving design system
•    10% Research and discovery
o    Become a product expert and advocate for users
o    Perform user research to elicit requirements
o    Consistently be aware and search for upcoming product and design trends

•    You are a results-focused, persuasive, and meticulous designer obsessed about driving outstanding user experiences.
•    You are both a listener and a consensus-builder among diverse stakeholders.
•    You thrive at working in a collaborative design environment; you will critique and be critiqued.
•    You can visualize and create design assets for digital ecosystems and platforms.
•    Thrive on constructive criticism and feedback.
•    Can work collaboratively across an entire product team. This includes but is not limited to Product Managers, Developers, QA, Designers, and other stakeholders.
•    Someone who is not afraid to ask questions, and can admit when they need help.
•    A person who understands there is no ‘i’ in ‘Team’.  
•    Approaches work, daily activities, and relationships with a “how can I help” posture. 

What You've Accomplished:

•    3-5 years of work experience in UX design, interaction design or visual design
•    Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, related field or equivalent practical experience
•    Proficient working with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite design tools (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)
•    Experience with Design Systems
•    Portfolio showcasing your proficiency in translating user needs into great product experiences
•    Solid understanding of digital/online design principles, best practices, and dependencies
•    Fluent in English
