Our Corporate Strategy team leads Pega's strategic planning process and corporate-wide transformation to operate as an as-a-Service company, including the development and execution of the annual as-a-Service initiatives. Our responsibilities including managing the strategic planning process, developing strategies for market expansion, and providing the execution muscle needed to achieve our most important strategic initiatives. The team is comprised of alumni from top management consulting firms with a deep passion for information technology and significant operational experience. As the Corporate Strategy Manager, you will work closely with senior management to formulate strategy and to drive and implement strategic investment decisions. Your role will include developing deep understanding of industry trends and the competitive landscape and performing quantitative and qualitative analysis on core strategic issues. You will work in a collaborative and cross-functional team environment daily. 

What You'll Do at Pega:

Work closely with Senior Vice President of Americas Sales and Go To Market (GTM) executive team to impact productivity and effectiveness of the Senior Vice President of Americas Sales by focusing on areas such as prioritization, communication, collaboration, program management, analytics and select strategic initiatives. Collaborate with Senior Vice President of Americas Sales and GTM executive team to help determine, prioritize and report on key business initiatives: Conduct organizational studies and evaluations, design solutions and execution plans to  conduct work simplification and key performance measurement, and prepare  procedures to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively; Document findings of study and prepare recommendations for implementation of new systems, procedures, or organizational changes; Analyze data gathered and business outputs to develop solutions and make recommendations to drive allocation of time and resources to key business initiatives and create focus on initiatives where needed through gap analysis of business and sales units. Assist the Senior Vice President of Americas Sales with preparation for and follow up on key client or partner meetings and meetings/interactions with other key constituents including the Board and analysts. Drive accountability and follow through on any actions coming out of meetings and events. Determine, collate and manage key performance indicators and other decision support materials on a regular basis. Plan study of work problems, such as organizational change, communications, and cost analysis. Implement a cadence of communications that includes designing, collating and curating content as well as gathering and acting upon feedback. Includes internal and external communications (creation and distribution) such as conferences and social media. Work behind the scenes to solve problems, mediate disputes, and deal with issues before they are brought to the Senior Vice President. Gather and organize information on problems or processes and design, evaluate, recommend, and approve changes to be implemented. Confer with personnel concerned to ensure successful functioning of newly implemented procedures. Directly engage with the GTML and represent the SVP of Americas Sales in key projects and initiatives to ensure teaming, execution and follow-up on agreed to strategy.

You are a highly energetic and driven professional with a proven track record of successfully formulating winning strategies and driving execution.  You are a creative thinker with a bias for action; executive driving strategy and execution cross-functionally. You can work collaboratively in a team setting and build constructive relationships with stakeholders. You are capable of extracting insights from data and using it to make informed recommendations and drive change.
 

What You've Accomplished:

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related field and 5 years of experience in any job title/occupation/position involving business operations and working with senior executives on program execution.
  • Experience specified must include 3 years’ experience with the following: organizing and working across multiple teams and program management; researching, developing and preparing internal and external senior client interaction documents.
  • Experience specified must include 2 years’ experience execution and follow through on programs related to client transformation; advanced data and analytics and executive level reporting; and
  • 1-year experience preparation for direct senior client engagement and follow through.
  • Telecommuting permitted 2 days/week. Requires up to 20% domestic travel.
