What You'll Do at Pega:

Provide architecture, design oversight, and technical ownership for key IT applications built on Pega technology and ensure delivered solutions meet and perform to technical and functional specifications.Lead and drive scope definition, requirements analysis, functional and technical design, application build, product configuration, unit testing, UAT, and production deployment. Partner with product managers and the Business Process Transformation team to understand the business needs and to develop scalable, high quality applications that meet those needs. Mentor and provide technical oversight over the work products delivered by a diverse set of system architects located in different time zones and countries. Keep current with, and leverage, the latest features and capabilities of the Pega Platform in order to build cutting edge solutions. Demonstrate new and innovative ways to implement software solutions for business problems. Provide support and technical governance focused on one or more applications. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert to the organization and proactively respond to ad-hoc questions.

Who You Are:

Requires Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and 7 years of experience in building and implementing model-driven, enterprise-level business solutions and applications. Will accept a Master’s degree and 5 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of experience.
Experience specified must include 7 years of experience (5 years if Master’s) with: all phases of software development including design, configuration, testing, debugging, implementation, and support of large-scale, business-centric and process-based applications; Object-Oriented techniques and principles.
Experience specified must include 5 years of experience with: leading in Agile and Scrum methodologies; J2EE (JSP, Servlets, EJB, XML and Java); Oracle. Experience specified must include 4 years of experience with: translating business ideas into high level design, detail technical design and implementation of large-scale business centric applications; application integration using SOAP, REST and SOA architectures.
Experience specified must include 3 years of experience with: WebSphere or WebLogic; MS/SQL; database design; application and web servers.
Experience specified must include 2 years of experience in delivering Pega platform implementation.
Requires Pega Lead System Architect Certification (CLSA).
May live anywhere in the US. Telecommuting permitted.
