Picture Yourself at Pega:

You will be part of a team of experts who focus on providing proactive support to our clients and partners who are developing applications on the Pega Platform.  You will be engaging with clients and partners with the goal of providing development assistance, troubleshooting issues, and providing solutions to their development questions.  In this role, you will drive client success and loyalty by providing superior support services for the ever-growing Pega Platform developer ecosystem.

What You'll Do at Pega:

•    You will apply your technical expertise and Pega Platform knowledge in resolving complex technology challenges to help clients in meeting their business needs
•    You will partner with internal resources to assist in debugging and recreation of issues, identifying trends and ways to prevent future issues
•    You will answer questions and work with community members in a timely and professional manner building trust and driving client success
•    You will review public facing content for accuracy and provide feedback to authors on content readiness for external consumption
•    You will identify potential trends and repeat issues and produce troubleshooting support material to help with future issue deflection

Who You Are:

•    You possess strong technical skills and the aptitude for quickly understanding complex enterprise application issues, clients’ end-to-end application deployments, products, and underlying architecture to solve problems
•    You demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills, including poise in pressure situations
•    You are a team player; you like to collaborate with different teams and drive results despite conflicts
•    You are passionate about self-learning and knowledge sharing within the team with respect to new technology developments related to the Pegasystems product suite
•    You can organize and drive a select team of individuals to achieve technical and business objectives 
•    You are driven to produce results and can independently balance your workload across multiple workstreams and projects 
 

What You've Accomplished:

•    Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
•    Minimum of 5+ years of experience in development or troubleshooting capacity, Pega Infinity Platform preferred
•    Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts, preferably Java.
•    Analyzed, troubleshot, and resolved enterprise application issues
•    Demonstrated the ability rapidly gain in-depth knowledge of existing and new technologies/skills, Pega preferred
•    Experience and ability to advise, mentor and train junior team members on customer issues, leading them to resolution
•    Experience in supporting internal/external client stakeholders
