Innovation Lead - Business

Meet Our Team:

The Innovation Lead - Business provides leadership around business strategy and financial analysis during client engagements to account team members, clients and stakeholders. This consultative role is a key member of Pega Consulting’s Catalyst team, helping to understand client strategic goals and advise on business and IT initiatives. The Innovation Lead - Business works within an innovation design group to conduct client and industry research, capture client business goals, and identify required technical capabilities. This role is responsible for creating and communicating a compelling business value analysis and transformation story.

• Provide leadership in the area of market analysis, user research, customer journey transformation and financial analysis to clients, partners, and internal sales teams
• Prepare and present key insights to internal and external audiences
• Lead business value analysis activities, including capture of KPIs, operational metrics, and create forecasted financial models (ROI, TCO, etc.)
• Define and document client-specific business processes, personas, and interfaces aligned to key business outcomes; own problem and journey definition
• Own the development of compelling Business Case deliverables 
• Drive the creation of a business capabilities roadmap
• Create enterprise grade business architectures that drive business outcomes 
• Translate strategic client business outcomes into tactical actions 

What You'll Do at Pega:

• Background in market and business analysis, financial analysis, and project management.
• Expert user of Microsoft Excel and comfort with financial modeling including ROI and TCO analysis
• Executive presentation skills
• Expert understanding and passion regarding user centered design philosophies including design thinking
• Exhibit flexibility and interest in new methods and techniques.
• Ability to properly apply traditional business analysis, Lean Six Sigma, business process re-engineering, design thinking and digital transformation during a Client engagement.

Who You Are:

The successful Innovation Lead – Business will be highly collaborative, financially astute and demonstrate a good business sense.  They will have a well-informed opinion of why and how corporations spend and earn money around customer engagement and possess the ability to share it eloquently and persuasively. They are intelligent, curious and motivated with exceptional communication skills and proven experience working with diverse teams of business users, senior leaders, and IT teams to define and implement business process changes.

What You've Accomplished:

• Minimum of 8+ years of increasing and relevant experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of consulting experience with a professional services firm or enterprise software company.
• Direct experience as a leader or practitioner of design thinking
• Ability to succinctly articulate qualitative and quantitative business value
• Knowledge and viable use of credible industry publications and KPI benchmark sources from which to conduct value assessments. Accountable for continual assessment and revision.
