Pega is changing the way the world builds software. In this role you will - The Test Automation Lead is a key member of the IT QA teams. You will drive test automation initiatives within the IT QA team and will help with the transition to a DevOps operating model. You will work with existing frameworks as well as investigate new frameworks and tools to be used to drive the automation initiatives.
What You'll Do at Pega:
Work in a highly collaborative scrum team
Understanding the flow of code and how it interacts with different components.
Understanding project documents, customer demands, and product objectives to create and execute test cases.
Investigating customer problems referred to you by the technical support team, testing bugs, and creating and managing bug reports.
Working with deployments teams, resolving level issues for systems, coordinating on product design, and offering inputs on the testability of functional elements and product designs.
Researching test tools, methodologies, and trends and upgrading existing practices and processes.
Managing the final quality on production release
Who You Are:
You have a high level of technical aptitude with a genuine eagerness to learn, explore and enhance Pega technology. You are a self-starter who exhibits creativity, hustle, integrity and teamwork.
What You've Accomplished:
- 4-6 years working experience in Selenium- Cucumber or Test NG frameworks, or any automation tool (QTP, Telerik, etc.)
Experience with different test methodologies and their corresponding tools
Highly collaborative with development, deployment, Product and stakeholders coordinating on product quality
Influence the development, program management, & design teams on technical implementation and user scenarios
