Sales Operations Manager

Our Sales Operations team is an integral part of our company’s rapid growth trajectory and we partner with senior sales leaders across the business to drive sales performance.

In this role, the Sales Operations Manager will manage non-selling operational activities for the region, providing close support to the regional sales teams to ensure business continuity, give critical insight and improve effectiveness. You will manage systems, tools, reports and analytics and give input to Sales Management, Global Sales Operations and Sales Enablement. The individual in this role should possess strong collaboration skills to form relationships across the organization.  They will become a trusted advisor and “go-to” person for the leaders and teams they support.   

What You'll Do at Pega:

  • Work in partnership with the global operations teams to understand the business strategy and contribute supporting and developing appropriate operational support mechanisms are in place, well managed and meet the needs of the business 
  • Work with the teams to support the annual planning process, manage the account coverage process and establish what is needed to contribute to successful strategy implementation – and ongoing continuity
  • Act as liaison to Global Operations to manage, monitor, review and report regional activity against Key Performance Indicators, identifying trends and any issues and raise with the Sales Management team (such as Strategic Account Planning Reviews, must wins, forecasting, pipeline, etc.)
  • Build, implement, and communicate streamlined processes to organize critical business activities such as account assignments, must wins, leads, etc. 
  • Help to identify productivity trends across the region and use insight from reporting to create and drive efficient processes to improve productivity
  • Represent the region in global operations-oriented projects such as new product introductions, new systems, tools or processes. Work collaboratively within project teams and communicate status, actions and aims to the region as per the requirements of the project 
  • Work with Sales Managers to support and drive specific actions items as a result of the quarterly Effectiveness Reviews
  • Works closely with sales management to assess sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement
  • Implement, monitor and recommend improvement to Sales Operations processes and policies
  • Maintain data quality in the Sale Automation Tool (CRM) used by Sales.
  • Liaise and provide direction to various organizations, including global sales operations, recruiting, HR, finance, marketing, compensation, enablement, business lines etc. regarding sales data and systems
  • Assist and coordinate key projects in order to assure timely and accurate completion for areas covered
  • Assist Sales Managers with various meetings and events as needed (management meeting support, ad-hoc team)

Who You Are:

You are a person who thrives under pressure and constantly collaborates information across cross functions. You are neutral in your approach and ethical in maintaining confidential information. Team work is very important which needs extends to various time zones. You accept challenges and can operates in an environment with less structure and processes. A sales Operations background in the software industry is preferable for this role. 

What You've Accomplished:

  • Bachelor’s degree, 7+  years business experience in operations or financial operations
  • Effectively work on multiple activities at the one time, setting priority levels and service delivery
  • Detail oriented with ability to multi-task with limited to normal supervision
  • Strong communication skills both written and presentations
  • Strong analytical skills in interpreting data to recommending actions
  • Discretion with sensitive information – treating all as potentially confidential and/or proprietary
  • Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint; proficient in all other MS applications such as Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, etc.
  • Effective operator in a an environment which is constantly changing and has less structure.
