To learn how applications are built in a proper iBPM environment, you will watch two specialists run through a partially built application, make significant changes and enhancements to the application, then run it again. This live demonstration will highlight several critical iBPM features, including: Directly Capturing Objectives: The process of requirements gathering actually builds your application. Business Rules Engine: Define sophisticated business logic in a business-friendly way. Case Management: Define the relationship between cases and sub-cases, and the processes that drive them. 	Benjamin Baril Solutions Engineering Manager, Pegasystems Benjamin Baril joined Pega as a Solutions Engineer in 2008. Previously Ben had worked for a large system integrator, building and deploying enterprise solutions across a variety of industries. In his current role as North American Solutions Engineering Manager, Ben continues to provide thought leadership to Pega’s key customer accounts, while providing hands-on leadership to a cross-country team of engineers focused on building unique demonstrations of Pega's software. Ben and his team have played key roles in driving the design and delivery of major customer service and case management systems across all of Pega’s verticals. Ben is an expert in Pega's BPM platform focusing in the areas of User Interface and Integration. Originally from Quebec, Ben now enjoys exploring his newly adopted city of New York.
	David Debo Branch Manager, Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) David manages the Design, Environmental and Travel applications Branch within the Business Solutions Delivery & Support Services Section of the IT Services Division. David's branch currently maintains approximately forty mainframe, client server and web legacy applications. In addition they currently have three large development efforts underway. One of those efforts is the Additive Alternates Bidding Project which will develop a new and improved Estimate & Letting System, TxDOT's first Pega project.
	Krassi Genov Senior Product Marketing Manager, Pegasystems Krassi brings an extensive background in product marketing, competitive intelligence and knowledge management. Prior to joining Pegasystems, Krassi held senior marketing roles with various technology companies including RightNow Technologies, Intelsat Ltd, Software AG and NTT Verio.
	Dr. Setrag Khoshafian Chief Evangelist and VP of BPM Technology, Pegasystems Dr. Setrag Khoshafian is one of the industry´s pioneers and recognized experts in BPM. He has been a senior executive in the software industry for the past 25 years, where he has invented, architected, and led the production of several enterprise software products and solutions. Currently, he is Pega’s Chief Evangelist and strategic BPM technology thought leader involved in numerous technology, marketing, alliance, and customer initiatives. His interests and expertise spans all aspects of BPM in the enterprise, including Predictive & Adaptive BPM, Dynamic Case Management, Social BPM, BPM for SOA, BPM for Legacy Modernization & Business Transformation, Real-Time Lean Six Sigma, BPM Methodologies & COEs, and Organizational Impact of BPM. Dr. Khoshafian holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He also holds an MSc in Mathematics.
	Denny Lowe Director, State & Local Government, Pegasystems For 20 years, Denny Lowe has been striving to deliver substantial quantitative value to those with whom he works. In his role as Director, State & Local Government at Pegasystems, Mr. Lowe works with a team of professionals and alliance partners whose shared mission is to provide software that revolutionizes how organizations optimize the customer experience and automate operations. Mr. Lowe is driven by the belief that the right technology can be an enabling force for significant positive change.
	Terry Riffel Director of Financial Services Center, Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Ms. Riffel is responsible for planning, coordinating and directing the full-range of accounting, payment, and financial management services provided by the Financial Services Center (FSC). As a Franchise Fund enterprise center, FSC serves both VA and Other Government Agencies, including the Departments of Homeland Security, Interior, Agriculture, and Health and Human Services. She supervises a staff of 550 consisting of financial and program managers, technicians, and analysts.
	Mark Switzer Solutions Consultant, Pegasystems Mark Switzer is an Austin-based Solutions Consultant at Pegasystems. He supports state governments in their systems modernization and business process management initiatives. His 12 years of experience in the IT domain have involved roles as a software engineer, database developer and data integration consultant. Prior to joining Pegasystems in April 2010, Mark worked in the Health Insurance, Life Insurance and Software (data integration) industries.
