Where is PegaWORLD?
PegaWORLD will be held at the Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel in Orlando, FL USA
What are the conference dates?
Sunday, June 9th – Tuesday, June 11th. There will also be post-conference training sessions and workshops held on Wednesday, June 12th.
Registration
What is the registration cost? How do I register? What is the payment policy? What is the cancellation policy? Are attendee substitutions permitted?

Can I bring a guest?
Guests will not be permitted to attend any PegaWORLD conference sessions. Guest passes are available for the Sunday evening Welcome Reception and the Monday evening Customer Appreciation event. The cost for this pass is $100 for one event or $150 for both events. Children under the age of 21 are not permitted. Please contact the PegaWORLD Registration desk to purchase a guest pass. These passes can also be purchased onsite at the PegaWORLD Registration Desk, subject to availability.

Where can I find information on Orlando?

What is the weather like in Orlando in June?
The typical high temperature in June is 90 degrees during the day and 72 degrees in the evening. Hotel conference rooms tend to be cool so we advise that you bring a sweater or light jacket with you.
Which airports are closest to Orlando?
Orlando International Airport (MCO) located in Orlando; in Orange County, Florida; is the closest commercial airport to Orlando's world-class attractions, the Orange County Convention Center, and the downtown business district.
How do I arrange ground transportation?
Taxis are available from the Orlando International Airport to Rosen Shingle Creek (approximately US$45). Mears Shuttle offers one way (US$19 as of November 15, 2012) or roundtrip (US$30) shuttle service from the airport to the hotel. Is there a special hotel rate?
The Rosen Shingle Creek is offering a rate of $189 a night plus tax.
What is the deadline to book hotel rooms at the group rate?
Reservations must be made by 5:00 PM EST May 20, 2013 in order to receive the group discounted rate.
How do I book a hotel for PegaWORLD?
Once you complete your PegaWORLD registration you will be prompted to book your hotel reservation on the “Registration Confirmation” page. Click the “Book Hotel” button to reserve a room for your dates of stay.
I’ve already registered for PegaWORLD. How can I add a hotel reservation to my registration?
To make a hotel reservation you can log back into your PegaWORLD registration with your confirmation code and click “Book Hotel” on the Registration Confirmation Page or you can click on the appropriate hotel link below:

How do I make changes to my existing hotel reservation?
If you have changes to an existing hotel reservation you can log back into the appropriate hotel link above or call 866-996-6338 or 407-996-6338 and speak to an agent.
Is internet included in my guest room rate?
Complimentary high speed (wired) internet is included in your guest room rate.
Is parking included at the Hotel?
Complimentary self-parking is included for PegaWORLD guests. Valet parking is also available for $20.00 all day or $21.00 overnight.
What is the hotel room cancellation policy?
Cancellations will be allowed up to three days prior to arrival without penalty. If you cancel less than three days, your credit/debit card will be charged a one night’s room and tax penalty.
What if I don’t check in on my scheduled arrival date?
If you don’t arrive on your scheduled arrival date, the hotel will cancel your entire reservation and can opt not to reinstate your reservation, even if you arrive the next day. You will also be charged the penalty of the cost of one night's room and tax, regardless of whether or not the hotel opts to reinstate your reservation.
Can I pay the hotel with a different credit card than the one I provided when I reserved the room?
Yes. However if the card used as a guarantee for your hotel reservation is not in your name, that cardholder must be present at check-in, or a faxed credit card authorization form must be set up with the hotel prior to your arrival.
How do I request a visa invitation?
You can request a visa invitation letter to assist in obtaining your visa to attend PegaWORLD. You must register for the conference prior to requesting a visa invitation. Please send an email to lori.costa@pega.com and provide the following information:
- First name as listed on passport
- Last name as listed on passport
- Full name as listed on registration
- Country of origin
- Passport number
- Passport expiration date
- Date of birth
- Full address of your local United States embassy/consulate
- Fax number of your local United States embassy/consulate
Please note that by requesting a visa invitation letter, this does not guarantee that your local authorities will grant a visa to attend PegaWORLD.
Agenda/Sessions/Training
What types of tracks and sessions can I expect?
PegaWORLD 2013 will offer over 50 success story presentations delivered by Pega customers and partners, 18 training sessions and workshops delivered by Pega professionals and multiple keynote sessions delivered by BPM thought leaders.
When can I register for sessions?
Registration is only required for pre- and post-conference training and workshops. Registration is not required for general conference sessions.
What is the pre- and post-conference training?
PegaWORLD offers attendees the opportunity to take hands-on training classes and attend workshops to increase their knowledge of Pega’s products. A nominal fee will be charged for some of the hands-on training classes. Training classes will be posted as they become available. Please check back for a list of these classes.
How do I register for the pre- and post-conference training and workshops?
Once training sessions become available, you will be able to register for these sessions online as part of your original registration. If you wish to add training at a later date, you can go back into your registration (details in your confirmation email) and add in classes or contact the PegaWORLD registration desk at +1 877-732-5151 or email at pegaWorld2013@pega.com
Please note that there is an additional cost, in addition to your basic PegaWORLD registration, associated with some of the pre/post-conference training. Payment is due at the time of registration. Training classes will be posted as they become available. Please check back for a list of these classes.
I have been wait-listed for a training course. What happens next?
If you wish to attend a pre-conference hands-on training course and were notified the course is at capacity, our registration team will contact you if space becomes available.
Can I sign up for multiple training courses?
Yes. Please note the start and end times of your desired courses because they may overlap or take place at separate locations.
Can I cancel my paid training course(s)?
Yes, if the cancellation is made in writing up to 15 business days prior to the start of the event (05/20/2013). Cancellations received within 15 business days of the event or non-attendance will not be refunded.

What is the recommended attire for the conference?
Business casual attire is suggested for all conference functions. Meeting room temperatures are cool so we also suggest you wear layered clothing for comfort and flexibility.
